Totally Bowie is a dynamic rock 'n' roll tribute band that celebrates the musical legacy of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, David Bowie, as a songwriter, singer, performer, and recording artist. Bowie had 28 songs in the Billboard Charts, and 11 of his albums charted at #1 in the U.K. Bowie’s 1st hit was “Space Oddity,” written during the run-up to America’s Apollo mission to land a man on the moon. Bowie helped usher in the “glam” scene of the early 1970’s with his album, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, having success with now classic songs such as “Rebel Rebel,” Space Oddity,” “Jean Genie,” “Starman,” and “Moonage Daydream”. His music would influence punk rock, and later, new wave music. He collaborated with artists such as Mick Ronson, Tony Visconti, Iggy Pop, Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Trent Reznor, and Arcade Fire, and had hits with “Young Americans,” “Fame”, and “Heroes”.

In the 1980’s he hit the charts with Let’s Dance, an album produced by Nile Rodgers, and featuring guitar work by Stevie Ray Vaughan. “Modern Love,” “China Girl,” and “Cat People” were hits from that album. He also collaborated with Freddie Mercury for the hit record “Under Pressure”. Bowie continued releasing albums through the 1990’s and 2000’s and his final album/swansong, Lazarus, was released just two days before his death in 2016.

Totally Bowie is a 7 piece rock band comprised of seasoned and dedicated music pros.
